red flashes in Imola with Content Manager

Hi there,
first of all, I am a big fan and appreciate very much Content Manager for AC. I am a little helpless with the issue following: there are red flashes only in Imola in the newer versions of CM. It is not possible to change to night because of very strange colours all over the creen then. Only when I get back to 0.1.25- previwe 49 (recommened as well as previwe 140), it works. I have installed the latest versions of Nvidia drivers as well as Sol). The problem is also in VR as on screen. Many thanks for your help.

Is your Imola track config in extensions the latest version or anyway the needed version for your Shader Lights Patch version ?
Or do you even have one ?

Mostly graphic problems with CM and SLP have their source there.

What also can happen is ... you have the right version in ...\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks
but the previous version is still in
...\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\loaded ....
In this case .... the new version will not work.

2 solutions possible in this case:
1) copy the imola files from the ...../tracks to the .../loaded folder replacing the existing ones
2) or delete them out of the loaded folder .... so that starting a session on Imola will automatically place those files in the loaded folder.
Solution 1 is quicker of course.

Dear Jempy,
your are defintely my hero :) Soultion No. 2 was the right thing. I copied the files from \tracks to tracks\loaded.
I nearly lost a day in trying several things, installing new versions and so on...
It is so great that there is such a premium community with help when needed. Thank you so so much!
Assetto Corsa with CM and SLP and Sol is so much fun now again (with my HP Reverb).
Thank you again for your detailled and quick answer. Please excus emy bad english, I am from Germany.
Lots of greetings,

Christian

No worse english than mine, @Dissi111 ... I'm from Belgium and french speaking. ;)

Another trick for next time .... once a track config is in the loaded folder ... it will be easier to have a ready new version if there is one of course.
You'll just have to look in CM in Settings/Custom Shaders Patch/Tracks Configs ... just find the track and look if "Older" is mentioned for this track at the right.
Just right click this "Older" mention and you'll see there's a new version ... just click "Install" and you're done.
This "Older" will be automatically replaced by a "Yes".

It was a pleasure to help, Christian .... so have fun.

JP.

You are a hero! I had the same issue as Dissi and your solution worked for me. Copied and replaced the files in the loaded folder. Thanks a lot from my side, too. :)

@Please Stop This See here, it constantly keeps flashing inside the tower (of course you see only the red light without flashing right now). Do you know what I mean?

Sorry but it still keeps red lights flashing pal. Just downloaded your updated file and placed it into the loaded folder. Trust me, I don´t have some imola.ini somewhere else.

Edit: I´ve deleted the imola_lights.kn5 and the red lights are gone in the tower. But now I think I miss the start/finish lights do I? At least this solves the problem with the red lights. The file was dated 02/11 - is there a newer one out there?
