Remote Controlled Racing Series - Master Thesis Survey

Hi guys, I'm not exactly new to this forum, but I haven't posted anything so far.
So: Hi all!

I'm currently writing my Master Thesis in Transportation Design at the Uas Joanneum in Graz, Austria. And I have worked out this topic of a remote controlled racing series. To unleash top motor-sports and to better connect real world racing and sim racing. For an easier step up to the "real deal". Since the step from Sim to RC would be not as big...

I have a survey here. It takes only 5 minutes (tested!) if you prefer to keep it short. Depending on your will to contribute however it can of course take much longer.
First there are a few questions about current top motor-sports, then your oppinion on a remote controlled full-size motor-sport series.

I would be glad if you take part, and / or pass it on to people / places that would also like to help me.
I'd appreciate your participation. I'm looking forward to your answers.

I filled the survey. But I would like to express my thoughts here too.

It might work if these RC events take place in Grand Prix weekends and the drivers are actual F1 drivers controlling the cars. Actually that would be a very cool series to watch that way. But from ground up, with no known names, I don't expect such a series to gather a following.

Good luck writing your thesis! :)

Thx for your reply. Ofc the idea is to start with some big names. How? I don't know, Formula E did it too somehow. I guess some high calibre drivers who didn't get a top motorsport seat and want to try something different. Also for those who couldn't make it through the Formula junior program, for whatever reasons. SIm-friendly drivers.

But honestly, I haven't thought about that yet. I guess I just look into the future, past this first steps :D

Hi Dmitri,
Curious about your thesis results. I'm a post grad at Umeå Institute of Design doing my final project inspired by Ernst Hellby's BMW iMPULSE (autonomous vehicle powered by clean energy). My previous case study and essay have been done for the Sixth Sense Motorcycle Concept design course.
