Replay questions

1. Is it possible to delete more than one replay at a time?
2. Is there a toggle to turn on/off replay recording when racing?

Yep. If you go to Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\ReplayData, you can delete the replay files directly.

Nope. You set the recording of replays in the menus, and it then records the whole race or nothing at all.

Be careful when mass-deleting. The folder contains not just the .rpy files but thumbnails too.

If you're deleting replays to save space then there's really no harm in leaving the redundant thumbnails in the folder.

They have the same name as the replays so are easy enough to delete safely. Not sure why you'd want to keep them?

The first time I cleaned out the replay folder I never realised there were thumbnails in there - I just picked my favourite replays, inverted the selection, and zapped everything that wasn't nailed down.

It was only when I went back in-game to watch a replay and I found they all looked identical that I knew I'd goofed.

Now I just leave all the thumbnails alone.
