rFactor 2 Anti-Aliasing question

Christian Moreau

Pretty Fly (For a French Fry)
Hey rFactor 2 experts! Quick question for you guys. Would any of you know what the anti-aliasing levels are equal to? I'm trying get Nvidia MFAA working and to be quite frank, I'm finding it difficult to figure out if it's working or not.

Could someone give me a run down of the anti-aliasing options? I haven't been able to find anything concrete anywhere.

Thanks!

Edit: And I found the answer! Silly me, MFAA doesn't work with DX9. Well, we'll be getting DX11 soon so hopefully it works then.

Isn't that for DX9, current list goes only to Level 5, bet the mapping changed too. Devs?
3.4.4 Anti Aliasing
Sets the anti aliasing mode. It is in levels meaning accordingly:
Level 1 = 2x [2x Multisampling]
Level 2 = 2xQ [2x Quincunx (blurred)]
Level 3 = 4x [4x Multisampling]
Level 4 = 8x [8x CSAA (4 color + 4 cv samples)]
Level 5 = 16x [16x CSAA (4 color + 12 cv samples)]
Level 6 = 8xQ [8x Multisampling]
Level 7 = 16xQ [16x CSAA (8 color + 8 cv samples)]
Level 8 = 32x [32x CSAA (8 color + 24 cv samples)]
