RFactor 2 noob, how to ffb

Hello, I have been through this before with a few other games. I have found the JSON file that has the parameters in it, and some of them look familiar. e.g., I would like some braking effect on the steering axis. Easy.
Before I start and spend many hours fine-tuning my G29, could anybody offer some pointers or a link to an article on getting the most from the FFB?

Thank you for any advice

Adjust the smoothing higher if your G29 rattles. If it doesn't rattle then you can lower it and you will feel more detailed FFB effects.
Other than this adjust the "car specific FFB multiplier" if you experience clipping or the steering is too heavy, etc. As the option says you have to adjust this per car/skin (usually lower than 1).
There are no other options available because rF2 "reads" the FFB as a whole from the suspension without added fake effects so you can't turn off the road FFB or enhance the understeer FFB, etc.
