Congrats IS!
I have some problem about Lifetime steam key :( on this link https://commerce.rfactor.net/steam-transfer-form

Though if you read the FAQ you'd see that they have a limit on number of keys per day they can send out, so you'll just have to try again tomorrow.
I did however encounter a different problem, I activated my Lifetime license (it even said rF2 with lifetime in steam when I activated), but the launcher now tells me I have no valid subscription for multiplayer.

Edit: The exact wording is: "Online access for this account has expired"

If you have rF2 with a yearly subscription now, you can migrate to Steam and you get the base game that you can play off-line. You will then indeed be able to pay for a year to get your subscription back. It was impossible for us to migrate the subscriptions because of technical limitations.

Question... Can we migrate to steam for free if I have the yearly sub right now then pay for a year?

The migration is for free. But you'll lose your yearly online subscription.

So you have 3 options:
- Migrate now and buy the online subscription again with a 40% discount.
- Migrate when your online sub expires and buy a online sub (full price)

Or

Buy a new lifetime steam version with a 40% discount.
You still have your normal rF2 account so you can install and use multi-installs, different builds etc...
