Rules:
If you have not entered the server and driven a few laps with fellow drivers before we go to qualifying you are to late for that session. Please think of your fellow drivers and get out on track with them, watch how they drive, you can't race with guys you have not seen drive.
We ALL brake a little differently and drive the corners differently, get used to how they drive and then we can all race more safely.
If you drop out of the server during qualifying you can return.

This is being held in our Club, using Club Rules, and should be driven in that spirit.

If you keep your revs at or 500rpm above the rpm-figure specified in the car selection screen (Power: xxxHP@xxxxRPM) at all times, there is no other reason to short-shift than lack of traction

For todays car the figure is 6500rpm, meaning you shouldn't go ever higher than 7000rpm in race (in quali & practice the engines can take more abuse!). Not on start, not when airborne and not when you spin... Not inbetween shifts so lift throttle accordingly!
Also don't trust the shift-lights, they're a bit off on some cars.
The danger of getting airborne is rather small in the Sprite, though

Maybe we should add a little note about the cars not having rev-limiters and where to check for the save shiftpoint to the initial post of each race?

Better to remove Note 2 Over the week you will need to drive any car you want for each race.

Server is throwing up a Terrain.tdf missmatch???

Track freshly downloaded from above link incase i missed an updsate but still not working.

Same problem than Kris : Terrain.tdf missmatch...
I have installed the track and pit order.
The game works prefectly on solo mode.
does anyone know where this mismatch comes from ?

I just went on without downloading the track (have Cadwell for ages) and all is fine.
Try this terrain.tdf if you got problems:

Put it into the locations folder that your HGTTC install is using.

Sorry, I won't be able to make it. My wife does volunteer work at a shelter for refugee children and has been asked to help out while the race is on; I'll be at home, but my children and sim racing don't mix very well.
