for some reason my screenshots don't look as good as in-game.

Turn shadows on - makes a massive difference.

Save as .png - 2 ways to do this:

Find this line in your .plr file

Screenshot File Type="1" // 0=default (jpg), 1=bmp, 2=jpg, 3=png, 4=dds

Make sure it saves as bmp or png, so 1 or 3.

Other option is to get FRAPS and save as .png on that.

Had a go at photoshopping one of yours, but the original quality wasn't great so it doesn't look brilliant. Not great at adding shadows either so I didn't bother.

I had everything on highest settings, saved it as a .png and still it does not look very good. What am I doing wrong?
In-game it looks much better.

RD resizes it when you upload it. Try uploading to imagehost or somewhere that doesn't have a size limit.
