DiRT 4 RFPE for Dirt4 (a reason to reinstall this game)

Maybe now this game can start to make any sense.

I've not tested it yet (I unistalled Dirt4 after 30 minutes) but it looks promising.
Downlaod size is HUGE (more than 5 Gb) and it works on just a few cars, let's hope they continue the development...

List of modded cars:
H3 (RWD)
BMW M3 E30 Evo
Rally Opel Ascona 400
Lancia Stratos
Renault 5 Turbo
Ford Sierra Cosworth

R2
Ford Fiesta R2
Opel Adam R2

R5
Ford Fiesta R5
Peugeot 208
R5 Mitsubishi Space Star
R5 Hyundai i20 R5

Tested the mod with BMW M3 both on tarmac and gravel.
Even if not as bad as standard handling (almost nothing is so bad actually...) it's still far from realistic.
The transition from grip to slip is so pronounced it's almost impossible to drive the car with fluid inputs.
It's always transitioning from massive grip to no grip at all and it's like having a big torsional srping on the yaw axis trying to align the vehicle as soon as the grip is recovered.

The same mod for DirtRally was much better.
I hope they can improve it in the following releases

The R5's rear end behaves like there are patches of ice every other second. Nope, this is no improvement as far as I'm concerned, it just makes the card feel more odd.

Sorry.

This mod is FAR FAR FAR better, it works for every car, cause physic is new !
Why dont you tell everybody you asked Anton help to try to make a mod for physics ?
But Anton has refused cause he already has created THE PERFECT MOD :)

i drive on wales with the mod :)

I asked no one ‘cause the mod is not mine (and IMHO is also quite bad).
Anton’s is a paid mod so I can’t see any success for it but I’ll give a try ASAP ;)
Yes of course it´s a paid mod, but the few bucks are a good investment IMHO, as it opens the door to change the physics parameters at will.
Although the results are often surprising :) and - if you like - far from reality, it is a LOT of fun to experiment.
