Last time I was in the beta channel I had an issue where my Rift would stay black, rolling back resolved the issue. Therefore I know this sounds great, don't want that hassle again.
Just noticed you're using the exact same CPU.
How to you like the performance?
Are you running any O/C?
Are you running the PCI-e hack to get 3.0?
It's a massive benefit to smoothness and performance in general.
I've looked at later CPUs but the performance of this one...even seven years after release, is still so darn good that I keep putting my wallet away.
I'm running at 3.8 GHz with 32 gigs of G.Skill Ares DDR3 2133. O/S is Win 10-64 on a 250 GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD.
