[Nibiru Cataclysm]

Just had to post this - saw the news that Eddie Van Halen has passed away today. His music was part of my life for 36 years - strangely earlier today I'd ordered a Digitech Whammy pedal because I was inspired by his use of it on the last VH album.

Have shed a lot of tears in the last hour - RIP EVH - a wonderful, and beautiful musician who invented modern rock guitar.

Without Van Halen 1 in 1978 Christ knows what guitar would have looked like today. So saddened....the world is a poorer place today.

Sad news and a real loss to the world of music.

I shall be listening to the VH back catalogue whilst I work today

My favorite rock band and growing up listening to them during those first six albums was life changing musically for me. The live shows were described by DLR as a cross between a hockey game and a religious retreat, I can't argue as they were some of the best times.
