Ristrictor (manual)

Hi,

Is there a instruction how to set up the new feature "ristrictor"

Or how does it works? How much is need to Balance the Maserati GT1 and the Porsche GT1?

Cheers

Yes i know how it work in real. But how to set it up in the game?

Is there maybe a sheet aviable from kunos?

What i have to edit in the Entry List? Or ingame as admin logd in at my Server?

When in cars/entry list tab of server manager, click on open car driver view on the right vertical tab marked with << expansion arrows.
In field marked Restrictor enter the value for percentage of restriction.
If you enter value 10 for the car with 500hp, it will take away 10% of it's total power which is 50hp.
You'll end up with car that outputs 450hp.

It's not the % of total power: otherwise 100% will give 0 power.

The restrictor acts on a % of the total power (example 20%):
Total power 500hp
Minimum power 400hp

Final power with Restrictor at 100% -> 400hp
Final power with Restrictor at 50% -> 450hp

IMo a smart way to test BoP is using it in a custom championship. Run some qualify session with the car you want to balance, using some different handicap settings for the same car.

Then compare the results with those cars and the slower one.

On server you can also tweak it through the admin command "/restrictor CAR_ID value"

2 questions....what's the App you're using in the image?

Second , so the usage of the admin command would be something like:

/restrictor 22 10

Car 22 restrict by 10%? Just clarifying.

Edit:

Found it
Code:
/restrictor: cut engine power to the CAR_ID. To add 50% restrictor to the CAR_15: /restrictor 15 50
