Venue: Mount Everest South Base Camp, Nepal

Tables:

A close playoff between Marcel Purschke and 3rd seed Fred Owen saw 3 draws before a win for Marcel, sending him through.

The curse of the seeds strikes, as all four finished 3rd in their group. Steven Poirier, Rami Saidy, Fred Owen and oldwolf.
Bradley Vanian, Ben Herbert, Aidan Keranen and Tapio Rinneaho bring up the rear, but at least they all won a match.

Congratulations to the rest of you that qualified, including the unbeaten kedy89 and Florin Diaconescu. Group winners will face second place finishers in the quarter finals.
