The only reliable option is to measure the car. Parameters and dimensions on such portals are medium-accurate. That is why I believe car tuners have factory data.

It's usually more a matter of sifting through multiple sources to try and determine which is correct, as you find contradictory information all the time when researching. I'm sure we still get stuff wrong due to source errors. But we work with whatever we can get our hands on... the show must go on. :)

(That's why it's so much fun to do your own car. At least you know you have a good reference.)
