There's the RUF RGT which is the equivalent of the 911 GT3 road car.

Let's leave the fake GT3 cars to iracing....There are plenty of official GT3 cars in AC and modders will have Porsche's in the mix soon enough.

Can't wait to play in the Yellowbird.

A Callaway Corvette isn't a fake corvette and a Hennessey Viper isn't a fake Viper...They are High performance cars that have been turned all the way up to 11. RUF is alot like AMG just as a separate business instead of in-house tuner.

RUF hasn't much to do with Porsche and the similarity between both of them ends with the use of body frameworks from Porsche models. As you know there are huge differences between Porsche models and RUF models (think V8 or CTR3).

They're an independent manufacturer of high performance cars.

Also they never created a modern race car and therefore (for example) Simbins RUF GT race car is fiction, that might be based on some 997 race car data. But this is not something that should be put into a simulator with an aspiration towards realistic environments.

RUF isn't Porsche and that's why I want Porsche (997 RSR) in AC. lol - Yeah... no question, good mods are fine by me and very welcome!

edit: don't get me wrong though, the CTR Yellowbird is a great car!
