We enjoyed the stay in Italy last time around so well that we thought we'd extend it! This time we will head for the Temple of Speed, better known as Monza. Better get that low drag configuration ready!

Eligibility: You must be a PREMIUM member. You must also use your REAL NAME on all RD servers and Discord, and include this in your forum profile. It is the only way of identifying who you are during an event.

INFORMATION & BASIC RULES

  • It is the responsibility of faster cars to safely overtake slower cars. When a faster car is overtaking a slower car (in a different class), whether a blue flag is being shown to the slower car or not, the slower car should be predictable and remain on the racing line. The faster car should execute the overtake only when it is safe to do so. If a faster car is lapping another car in the same class then the same rule applies; some cooperation may be required to facilitate the overtake. Please be sensible.
  • All of the standard Racing Club Rules still apply to this event.
  • You do not need to nominate which car you will drive, but should specify in which class you would like to drive when signing up.

SERVER IS UP!

Server will come up tomorrow.

Thanks to @Roy Magnes who made the thread for me and PM'd it to me so I could just copy-paste it!
I've been busy at work, with 70hours work weeks and well over 200hours so far in June. In addition, the terrorist attack in Oslo was very close to me, both physically and mentally. And, well, in regards to friends in the area. It's been a draining weekend, and it seems like it's not over by the looks of today and the police recommondations.

Anyway. There will be a race on Friday, I'll be there, it will be Monza, it will be fun! :D

Le Mans aero package, lowest tire pressure possible (rf2 'specialty'). Tires will last all race, you'll need to pit once for fuel. Use qually fuel setting for the race aswell, the difference between the modes are very minimal, except safety-car mode, but thats way too slow.
Other than that, its just a matter of playing with setup. Setups can be found online.

Thanks for that, really useful. Will a full tank not last 50mins then even when on race fuel setting or is there a mandatory stop?

I can't remember the tyre compounds but presume medium / hard for racing?

No. It will not last 50 min.
Except if you are using SC mode and lift & coast at Sebring:cool: but that's still slower than a pit stop:(

Use soft tyres on the Prototypes ;)
Well, unless you are me. Soft is the best on GTE's as well.
