For the last Friday-event before Christmas we are going slightly unique Adria International Raceway has been used once in the rF2 club since 2012. It's a fun little Italian track that often gives close racing, and it's about time it get's some love!

Drove the first few laps tonight - this is one tight, small track. If we get the usual 30 cars or something, the traffic will be really high. Never hit top gear and the brakes take a beating.

It's a... cozy track if I can put it that way! It's not completely Monaco, but it's certainly not a Tilke-track either.
The usual amount of cars have been 17-22 though, it's just new releases/updates (Nürb and Spa) that have boosted the numbers the last weeks. Imola was an outlier in terms of numbers
What's fascinating is that the vehicle limit is 40!

However, the track hosted a round in the FIA GT Championship for years. In fact, if GTR2 had been emulating the season of the year it came out (2006), then Adria would've been a part of that game! They did 500km & 2hr races there!
The track is probably most famous for the 2010 DTM race. Or, rather, Premat's crash, not the race itself!

Anyway, it will provide a different challenge, and I think it's just nice to do something a bit unique now and then I trust that the drivers here at RD are able to drive clean and fair even on a slower track like this

Ole, maybe just a thought to finish the year with something different; what about a one-off race in the f2/f3 cars? I believe it would provide some interesting racing, and something different to gt3/gte racing.

I'm not yet sure where I'll be for Christmas, or if I'll have visitors or what's actually happening. So for now the 18th is the last date I know I can host in 2020. I also think, for other type of cars I'll find an additional day. Right now it feels like the 50m (sometimes 60m) races with (usually) alternating GT3&Endurance is a good Friday evening combination.

Have you tried the F3 2020 mod btw?

Reminds me of when I did a e-PCC cup years ago, and my car was basically JV's helmet! That looked... unique!
