SAAB and Volvo? Any good mods?

Im loooking for some SAAB and Volvocars thats have proper physics etc. So far I have just found a SAAB 99 Turbo and a Saab 9-3 (or 900) Aero. Both felt that they have borrowed enginesound and physics from other cars.

Have you found any other cars of these brands for AC? =)

Actually we could use a DTM Volvo 240 Turbo from mid eighties. Raceroom has it.

Well the typical route is that people rip (=steal) the models from other games and copy them onto the physics of exiting Kunos made cars... which means you'd have a badly converted Volvo or Saab model but with BMW M3 handling for example. Nowhere near what a well made mod could portrait.

Exactly. Im looking for some original mods of saab and volvo, but Im quite sure I cant find such mods. =/ And Im not interested in cars that handles and sounds like other cars. Whats the fun of that?

I ask myself this constantly around the AC community...

Can't think of any good Saab or Volvo mods either, though. I think there was a BTCC 240 in the works but I don't know the status, and anyway, race car.

If you happen to find a 9-2x I can probably adapt my GD Impreza physics over to the Saabaru.

So much darn history.
So many good models to choose from.
Company now defunct, so no real worries about licensing...and yet no Saab cars in sim-racing.
It is sad indeed.
If you've ever driven a well-prepared petrol-burning Saab automobile (not the diesel junk)...you'd be hard-pressed not to run out and buy one.
I let a co-worker drive my 9-3 SE a few months ago when it arrived from California.
He has owned 130 cars in his 54 years so lots of variety...including numerous BMWs, Mustangs, AMX, Vettes.
He can't stop remarking about how my car felt on turbo spool up and cornering.
They handle well enough to leave that kind of lasting impression.
