Salsburgring circuit- track mod Problem

I was testing this spectacular and interesting circuit "Salzburgring 2009 by COm8 GTR2 V1.1"

In the first chicane, there are two piles of tires that are right on each edge of that chicane. they are "indestructible" (although the collisions at 300km / h do not move) .....
this produces a "massacre":confused::confused: ... a large number of ia accidents: in a 7 LAP race with 20 cars there is an abandonment of 13 cars, at the end of the race ..... and two safety cars:roflmao:, of the 7 laps there are only two without a safety car due to the massive crashes ....
this is in stock, and car mods.
there are other stacks of identical tires in other sectors of the track ... but these can be "pushed", removed with a crash .... it is not my intention to crash in this game .... but it ruins the experience of the race to be all laps with safety car.

the track is great, but is there a way to remove / modify the tire stacks on that chicane?
 
I think these tyres are moveable in KBB version ?
I just downloaded and tested the KBB version .... and nothing. are they also indestructible ... some other version? ... does anyone know how to remove them and saw a version without them?
I am giving up on this track .... it is very good, but with this problem, I will have to remove it.

I don't know much about tracks ... but I'm already aware that it's only a question of a certain property to modify for those tyres at this place .... other ones are moveable and those ones at the chicane are not ?... comparing their properties will be a way to know which precise property will make them moveable.

They have also surely another slightly modified name for them ... they should be easy to find.
 
I have just looked at the KBB SALZBURG and it is very easy to remove tyres with notepad++ : open Trk file and use REPLACE function like that
Search what :
Instance=cornertire
replace by :
//Instance=cornertire
Then click REPLACE ALL and save file :)

Edit:
You need also to repeat REPLACE process with both entries :
Instance=postcornertires
Instance=tires

but ... still follows:

first modify the trk with the "normal" notepad (I don't have "++" installed) ... change and replace all the lines of code you mentioned.
to make sure ... I installed notepad ++ ... use the "replace" function .. and save as TRK file (then make sure it was ok) ....
and it worked halfway ..... all the "black" tires in a row surrounding the first chicane disappeared ... BUT the large ORANGE stacks of tires are still in place ... and indestructible.

arrrrjjjj .... I ask a thousand pardons ... I do not like the idea:
I explain:

1-it is not to remove objects from the circuit, it is to give it another "property" .. (not indestructible, if someone walked around the place, there are other identics, but they are easy to push)

and the most important:
2-I do NOT like the idea of having the solution by myself ... seriously, I prefer that this stay the same, or that in kbb, or the creator of the circuit publish the fix ... so everyone would benefit ...
without offending anyone, seriously, I prefer to have (and that you too) a mod with its fix already included (or have nothing), than having many folders and "readmes" with the fixes, and then I have to remember.

... I would be more than glad that a fix is published on its "official" salzburgring download page (kbb) ... than having it by myself.

Here is a replacement "trk" file for 09Salzburg; in the interest of keeping the peace with irate racers it is an unofficial mod to this excellent track. I have made every tire "moveable" so corner-cutting AI and racers can now simply knock the offending obstacles out of their way.

To Install: copy & paste "09Salzburg.trk.txt" into your "09Salzburg" track, rename the existing "09Salzburg.trk" to "09Salzburg.trk.bak" and then rename "09Salzburg.trk.txt" to "09Salzburg.trk". Reverse that process if you find driving the track to be too easy.

I think the original authors should consider making these areas "CUT CORNERS" so cheaters (including the AI) would be rightfully penalized and / or disqualified from the race if they venture too close.

I suppose I have to rename the file (in kbb there is no 09salzburg .... only "salzburg.trk") and also rename the file like this.

I downloaded the "09" version of salzburgring. (racedepartament- esportracing)
Using winrar I was able to rename the file from "txt" to "TRK".:cautious:
(if you want to publish it but with extension ".trk" not txt, so that nobody is renaming, it is difficult to get the extension txt)

it worked!! : now the ia cars respect the race line ... they go over the tire stacks, and there are no more massive crashes:confused::cool: ... on all laps, the cars pass cleanly. (the stacks of tires bounce a little ... and are far from the track)
it would only be necessary for the other tires to have this same "indestructible" property (the small black tires that are lined up around the chicane)

I uploaded the altered track file for three reasons:
  1. An attempt to encourage users to back up the original file.
  2. My changes are NOT approved by the original authors, so YOU are making changes - not me.
  3. It was the simplest way to upload a "trk" file to the thread because "trk" is not a approved format.

Yep there are also 2 other instances for tires :
Instance=postcornertires
Instance=tires

I gave you the easy way for noobs, but for sure make tires moveable as gwaldock did is better :)
