Satsuma not starting, no sound when key turned

Another update already: I replaced the spark plugs and the car turns over, but a brand new battery dies in seconds and there's a "gunshot" sound, updated the save files

Update: I replaced the battery and the car starts now, but doesn't turn over, and turns off when I release the key.


I have the car assembled, but no matter what I do, it won't start. I have the parts wired up, I've checked the bolts, I've checked the part conditions, the battery is fine, and all the fluids are full, but when I turn the key, there's no sound and the car doesn't start. I've checked with MSCEditor, everything's the way I assume it should be. I've changed some stuff trying to get it to work but still nothing.

I do have mods, but none of them change the car itself. I have tested without the mods and the issue persists.
