Saving your paint designs

Maybe I'm overlooking something but can someone tell me how to save my paint schemes in ACC? When I save the scheme, it stays in place until I change cars. When I come back to the car, my paint scheme is gone. For instance, if I am running the Cayman, I save my paint scheme and race it. Then I decide that I want to run the Camaro...When I come back to the Cayman, the paint scheme is gone. If I go back to the Camaro, that paint scheme is gone as well.

What am I doing wrong. I appreciate the help.

Maybe check the \Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione\Customs\Cars folder it not "read-only".....

Are your liveries are also gone in the livery selection of your specific cars?

Do you give your painting a unique team name? Maybe no team name can cause some issues?
Create your own painting, save it with a custom team name.
If you than come back to the car, ACC will present you a default team and livery but you can change it with the click on the team button and there you will find you custom team with the custom painting.

Thanks guys for the feedback. I tried your suggestions and gave each one a unique name, then checked the documents folder to make sure they were there. I also realized that I wasn't hitting "confirm" after choosing that car. If you select a car, then customize it, it won't save if you don't hit "confirm" first. Like I said, I figured it was something simple that I was missing. In any event, I know the process and how to save my liveries thanks to you guys.
