Scammer in the sales section?

What should a moderator add to the dispute? We have advised the user in private to press charges at the police if he has been scammed.

There is no way for us to mediate here as it's impossible for us to gather all the facts or conversations . We can't decide who is wrong or right as each story always has two sides and we don't have access to that kind of information.

To resolve this the affected user should go to the police first and if we can assist in anyway with law enforcements we can always assist where we can.

All that you have said is fully understandable, but I think it would be more reassuring if mods responded to despute threads just to say that they are aware of the situation and advising?

Obviously what goes on beween the mods and specific users is none of our business but as it stands as an outsider, it looks like we have a bad seller or a bad buyer (or both) who are free to continue in the marketplace as they please, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
