Celebrating Ayrton Senna's recent birthday, we will be doing a couple of special events in his honour.
We'll be driving the 1988 McLaren MP4/4, created by the highly talented VRC-Modding team, this car is sure to bring a smile to your face. The most successful car in F1 history and last of the turbo cars of the era, to Suzuka, the track where he claimed his 3 world championships.

A message to all Drivers
If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.
Golden Rule

Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.

Track limits

No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!
Unfortunately, as this event will run on a mod track, the track has some issues, this is the best version of Suzuka we have on RD so please keep this in mind.

Aside from this, please note that I have tested and found out by chance that no refuelling is possible. It has not been banned as in previous modern F1 races through the ACRL_DRS app but rather that if you refuel during the pits, your pitstop will never end. For this reason, you will need to start with full race fuel and should you wish to stop, only stop for tyres if you need to. I believe this was intentional by VRC as they had no refuelling in 1988 and drivers only stopped for tyres as they do today.

Expected number of laps for the race will be around 44 laps maximum but most likely 42-43. With my driving style, this equates to 132 litres but yours may be less or more.

Also, repairing engine damage takes a considerable amount of time and as a result, I would recommend against repairing it as we will only have 15% damage and the engine will most likely last the whole race without issue.
