Serious bug: does not advance, does not work day / night cycle

even when the x60 day / night progression is activated, the transition does not work ... I only see the skybox rotate. not the sun (and active ctrl+f)
If I select a specific schedule ... it shows well ... but it does not advance.

car and track stock / original = works fine:):):cool:
car stock and track mods = works fine
mods cars and track stock / original = no day / night progress

Does anyone know how to activate day / night progression in a mod?:(
 
I guess you have bad sky textures format :
- maybe used in one specific track inside xxxxMAP.GTR
- maybe located in GameData\Locations\Shared folder, delete ALL DDS within and restore either stock skies or HQ skies which are in good format
 
I'm sorry ... the tracks DO HAVE a cycle.
I discovered that a car mod package "freezes it."
It happens only when using that specific mod. Stock tracks and cars works well.
How do I activate the day / night cycle in that mod?

These versions are old, take the ones updated either at EEC (v3) or KBB (v2.3 with fixes) because I don't have this bug.
As said above, in general it is due to wrong sky texture without transparency (dxt1) whereas GTR2 requires a transparent layer (dxt5) to display full day/night cycle.
 
SOLVED:
the problem was only of the mod, in my case.
I got an update of the mod, which corrected this problem.
