Server problems - help appreciated.

Hi and thanks for any suggestions.

I can start and join a server but if I stop and load another server, whether it's my own or another user's then I get the race cancelled message. Restarting CM doesn't help but rebooting my PC allows me to start and successfully join a new server.

Since this problem started I have reinstalled AC / CM from scratch including CM data but it didn't help; I've scoured google for answers. and, as a result, have tried a lot of fixes including disabling apps, changing the launcher, video settings, port forwarding checks etc but nothing has helped. I even deleted all of my servers and started again but no joy.

Really appreciate some ideas, I run VR only if that's relevant.

It transpires that VR is the problem but I don't know how to fix it.

In single screen mode the issue disappears completely but going back to steamvr (I have index) I can run 1 server but then can't change to any other whether it's mine or not.

Reinstalled steamvr, AC and CM but no progress - why would this happen? Thanks
