Settings in game

Hi Guys,

Not sure if iv'e missed an option here. I've recently installed SOL and Shaders mod. When in game you have the pop out icons bar on the right which allows you to open each app/mod and make adjustments. I can only gain access to this mod within drive screen. Is there a way of accessing the icons bar before I hit drive?

Sorry but this icons bar is not accessible except on track.
Some apps have a config file and may be tweaked there manually but it needs of course a bit of knowledge to avoid mistakes.

That’s a pain, so can’t change weather until I’m on the starting grid? Or do you guys have another method ?

The easy method is of course ... make the 1st good choice in the race settings for the right time of day, time acceleration, date and Sol Weather

And in place of a Quick Race ... choose a Race Weekend and just add a short practice session before race ... so that you may just go on track ( Pitlane ) and already choose the weather you wish using the Icons of the bar.

The other solution is prepare your own Weather Plan ... there should be 2 solutions possible:
- create it in an usual practice session and save it for the next race you wish
- create it manually ... you may find the way to do it in Peter Boese's manual of SOL

I have read his manual plenty of times Yes that's what iv'e been doing, or starting a race making settings, then doing a restart race
