I have a suggestion, which may seem inconsequential to you all, but sort of irritates me.
I would like to see environmental objects on track, such as brake markers and DRS signs, having their physics 'shared' by all players. For example, when I cut the first chicane at Monza, all the directional signs go flying everywhere and I find them lying in the middle of the track on the next lap. I watch the other racers drive through them without an issue, only to find that I'm the only one who can collide with it.
What I'm proposing is that these environmental objects are interactive with each player, so no one can just drive through them like a ghost. My sense of immersion goes down each time someone ghosts through these objects.
Of course, if this feature adds too much strain to CPU or GPU resources, then it probably shouldn't be implemented, but I hope that it can be done efficiently.
Thank you for hearing me out!
