SHIFT2U Mount Panorama question.

The SHIFT2U Mount Panorama conversion was released recently and I was wondering if it's considered an illegal conversion (I highly doubt EA OK'ed something like that).
If not, someone get it on the racing club, 'cause it's a hoot and a holler to drive.

Im confused (i know it doesnt take much) Simbin have mount panarama in gtl but its not allowed on race 07 but the gtl cars are,

Simbin's "rights" to use the likeness of the track were probably limited to that specific game title and not any others. The cars may well be their own creation and they may have been able to get extended rights to use the cars seeing as they are using later model ones in the game anyways.

So this all comes down to being a legal issue and Simbin not paying to use the track anymore.

It never was.

There is a Mt Panorama 67 version which is a scratch built addon for rF ( I think) converted to GTL. No legal issues with that one.
There may have been a regular Bathurst which was a conversion of Codemasters track, and that one had legality issues.

Basically, any older SimBin title content can be put in to Race 07 (currently their newest released platform), and cross platform conversions needs permission from everyone still alive (for FDLC) or the company (for PW & assoc DLC), that was involved in the creation of said content.

Its a fun track with good graphics but its like driving on ice & AI keep crashing...
