F1 2019 Should I buy this for Winter Sale or wait for 2020?

I like how they added this ranking system and you can beat world records of other people, I would like to try that. However, should I bother or just wait for 2020? I haven't playing Codemaster series since 2010.. but im interested in the record ranking thing, gives you a motivation to play and improve without waiting for leagues or anything.
