May I ask the rough build cost?
Did you machine the special deck and pedal side plates yourself?

For the aluminum profile itself, it costs about 1500CNY.
The deck and pedal side plates are machined by a workshop which offer service online in China.

Thanky you for the info. That is rather on the cheap side when I compare to prices over here in Europe! Have fun with your rig!

Haha, yes the aluminum profile is cheap in China.
On the other hand, when I want to buy the FANATEC, it's a disastar here. Much more expensive and tons of shipping issue.

Same here in Malaysia, Alu Profile = cheap, Fanatec = astronomical
Example, Fanatec V3 pedals here, RM3,500... that's £700...

£700 for fanatec V3 pedal is really crazy. In China, it's about £410.

I have heard of Phillips Hue but have not seen it or have any idea why it would be better?

This has loads of different colours and brightness and also reacts to noise. I am not really interested in any of that. In fact I only play in VR so can’t even see the red when racing.

What are your plans?
