Sim-r f1 Leds too bright

Hi.
I am finding the leds way too bright on the sim-r f1 display.
Im using sli max manager and i have the global brightness set to 5% and i have the max brightness down to 126 which is the lowest.
Am i missing something?
Its distracting and can be hard on the eyes.

Any help would be great.

After the latest update of sli max manager i turned the global brightness down to 3% and max brightness down to the minimum. It seems to be better than before.
