Sim Raceway wheel and G25 problem

I am posting for a friend who has FFB problems in Rfactor 2, he is using a Sim Raceway wheel attached to a G25 wheel. If the SR wheel is not plugged, the FFB is normal and plenty, otherwise very weak or non existent. Is there a controller file that could be modified so it would ignore the axis/gyro of the SR wheel but leave the buttons functional? We have tried enrolling the G25 without the SR wheel being present, works for that session but reverts back next time he uses it. Very frustrating.
