NFS Shift was terrible but this game is nothing like that.

The bathurst track is fantastic. Just wish I could have a proper race against the AI.

While there is no true "Race Mode" at this time, it's worth noting that the AI are adaptive and learn from your driving. They get better every time you restart a session. I have had some very good battles with the AI after a few sessions.

There is AI but, only in Test Sessions, still fun though. You go to "Single Player"/ Test Session/ AI players On. There will be 6 AI to race.

There has been a patch today, which may fix the problem - if your using triple screens on Eyefinity I know with earlier versions you had to disable eyefinity start the game in single screen mode then leave the game - re-enable the eyefinity group and it would work from then on.
