Simhub, AC, iRacing

I am in the midst of a first time sim racing rig build. Components are on their way to me as we speak. My main goal is to drive better in my F80 on the track. A little initial research reveals that AC and iRacing are high fidelity applications and Simhub seems like a good choice.

While I await delivery of the various hardware components, what preparations should I make on the software side?
