SimHub, Console, ACC

Have been racing on Xbox One for a month+ now, mostly with AC and ACC. Also have PC2, but don't care for it compared to the other two titles. ACC has taken over my life.
Anyway, I've set up one of the big Dayton shakers (BST-somethingorother), and am dying to do more with tactile. I was under the impression that SimHub would communicate with Xbox if the games were configured manually.
I have a super el cheapo $180 PC (I use a MacBook for most stuff, so this PC is just for the rig). I've installed SimHub, but for the life of me can't figure out how to connect it to ACC on Xbox.
I've seen the instructions that say "replace 120.0.0.1 with your local IP" and "you'll have to configure manually", but don't have any idea how to implement that advice. I don't see the above IP anywhere, and the manual configuration doesn't seem to be an option.
Any help on this would be much appreciated. I'll end up on a full PC system at some point, but that day is not today. What I have is what I've got.
