F1 2017 SIMRF1 plug in.

I'm using the SIMRF1 plugin for F12017 but I cannot seem to be able to change it using the basic options in the SLI MGR software. Specifically I change the display to a progressive shift light pattern and save it, but when I run F12017 it always reverts back to a different pattern and doesn't sync with the game properly. For example the audible tone to upshift is way earlier than the shift lights indicate... has anyone else noticed this??
