Simsync updating ENTIRE MOD on every sync, why?!

please help. every time i click to update on simsync, it just downloads the entire 1.7GB mod, every time. Never used to do this.
this is if i leave it over a day. once updated, i run again and its fine. come back a day later - downloads entire mod again. whats going on? please help.

There might be an issue with simsync, there were issues for some people regarding the nurburgring track a few days ago as well.

Hopefully Johannes can answer this.
