F1 2013 Single Player Online?

I`m looking to do some practice online (as oppose to just the Time Trials) to see how much my lap times vary in comparison to offline. Is it possible to do an online session with just a single player?

not possible, But the Mercedes car in GP mode is what everyone agrees is the Online car, so just practice with that in GP mode and you should be fine online.

Yes, I have never understood why you must have 2 players for your own lobby race to start. If you want to practice in the online environment, why prevent it?

Your server ...... should be your choice
