PC2 Slow/laggy menus

Tried getting back to pCars 2 now to test the updates, and menus are suddenly incredibly slow.

Any fix for this? Takes eternity after any selection, like it freezes. There's also the yellow loading icon on bottom right corner sometimes. Game is installed on SSD with good PC.. and worked fine originally

Haven't read of any issues on the official forms....id check the file integrity in steam.
Sounds like it might be something on your end, PC2 menus and load screens load the fastest out of all my racing titles.

I found something about similar issue reported on PS4. But not on PCs. Have to try file integrity check or reinstalling, only explanation I can think of. Because it used to load much faster originally.

White list pCars 2 in your Anti-virus software or windows defender.

It was that for me. Navigation was slow as hell, setup load and save took ages. Whitelisted pCars 2 and menu got super snappy after.
