F1 2010 Slower after pitstop?

Why my laptimes get so much slower after pitstops in races? I'm in carrer mode whith sauber and after i enter the pits to change tyres my laptimes get too much slower than before. I know that the option tyres are faster than the primes but this 2.5 seconds difference in laptimes is not normal. Anyone? Thanks.

The longer the track, the larger the difference in times. However, as you go on, this time should fall due to fuel levels decreasing.

The prime tyres have less grip than the options. Also, if you have tyre simulation enabled, they take longer to get to optimum temperature.

You should be able to go quicker as the fuel burns down, provided you don't destroy the tyres first!

Most tracks I find primes to be only about 1 second slower than options. Like mentioned above they do take longer to get into the sweet spot..
