Watching this I am really ashamed how little progress pc racing gaming has made in the last 10 years.

Of course physics calculations will have to be made by the processor and its probably non existent on the iPhone but still.

One other thing to consider is the lower screen resolution of the phones, though I am not real sure what the max res is on the new iPhone.

Res on Iphone 5 is 1136x640 so not that far off 1280x720 (which i believe certain Android phones have)

1920x1080 i guess is the standard today.

1920x1080 - 2 million + pixels
1280x720 - 921,600 pixels
1136x640 - 727,040 pixels
