To the best of my knowledge iRacing was a major player in ratings and ranked servers. I am in favor of that but I find it too vague and the quality of driving etiquette is something that is not valued or measured. If you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin', or rubbin' is racin', or if I can't pass cleanly I will make room mentality belong to those who have no need for a helmet, virtual or not.
In the couple of years of consistent participation I like racing with the folks here at RD and quite honestly have only had one incident that rankled me enough to act inappropriately. I don't rage quit, I'd rather finish last then quit. But I have been tempted more times on ranked servers than I would care to admit.
So what are your thoughts on Ratings and Ranked Servers?
