SOL/Pure clouds deficiency

Anyone else notice that the clouds In SOL and Pure are excessively blurry around the edges, regardless of what PP filter or Pure preset/cloud quality setting you run? The difference compared to FM7 is quite clear below when you view at full size (FM7 at high quality, top photo; 4K Pure with highest quality preset and very high level on cloud quality slider below). The difference is more obvious in-game. Any way of sharpening up cloud edges in AC? It's just possible that the game's graphics engine simply won't allow a better resolution.

On further inspection it seems the clouds in AC are frequently excessively white, as exemplified in the AC screenshot above, where only the very heavy cloud in the foreground has any tonal variation from pure white. (Certain PP filters are better than others in this regard.)

Turns out that the cloud sharpness issue is due to the 4K Pure implementation for the most part, when I installed the 16K version the clouds were somewhat sharper (and the new version of the 16K seems easier on the framerates as well - I'd tried an earlier version and given up on it due to framerate drop.)

Pretty sure you were comparing FM7’s 2D skybox with pure’s 3D cloud cells… Which isn’t apples to apples, and look wildly different by design.

Running 16K, it would mean you now have the 2D skybox version pure also offers, so yes, no issues, and yes better on frames since it’s easier on the hardware.
