Wanted to try this, but was curious about one thing. Actually i've been wondering about this for a long time because I never understood what ReShade was exactly. I'm kind of new at this stuff.

Do you need ReShade installed for this to work properly during an actual race or is ReShade something that is just used for making screenshots?
ReShade injects extra effects into a game, most (but not all) are an overlay over the game's image output. You can alter colours, exposure, anti-aliasing, special effects like lens flares etc. Some of these effects only work properly for screenshots, but a lot (incl. all I use here) work fine for gameplay.
 
Thanks for that info. So I can safely try Reshade without really messing up my current AC setup with Sol\CSP. I'm always afraid of trying something new because I don't want to mess up what I have and have to reinstall everything from scratch and try to reconfigure it all.

Yes, just delete the corresponding files or use ReShade's installer to uninstall.
 
If you get an overexposed image with Sol 1.5:
Open the PP filter app, switch to any non Sol filter and back to Solstice. Update coming soon.
 
When running at night in VR, lighting effects don't appear in right eye. Left eye lit up with street lights, right eye does not. Is there a setting a need to change in CM to get this to work? Using Oculus S
