Some info on mounting TH8A please...

Hi guys,

I want to hard mount (screw) the th8a on a piece of metal. There are 4 same diameter holes. The manual says about M 6 screws, but states." Not too long, to avoid hurting the top chrome plate", without suggesting a specific length. Does anyone knows the correct lscrew ength?

Bolts I used only had maybe 5mm of thread clear of the mounting plate. Those held it nicely - and I only used two holes/bolts...
