Track Guide:
Sector 1
Turn 1: Brake hard just before the last overhead (the one marked witht he F1 logo) down to 3rd gear. You want to point the car slightly to the left on entry; then turn right making a line from where the armco turns left to the curb on the inside of the corner. Accelerate very gently off the curb but don't put your foot down until you are facing the hill.
Turn 2: Weave your way up the hill, trying to take the straightest line up means getting close to the armco that sticks out. Stay to the right as you get to the top.
Turn 3: At the top take your foot off the gas and gear down to 4th as you turn left. You want to make a good solid turn to stay away from drifting to the right but not too sharp since this is a long corner. You want to end up as close to the left as possible at the end of the turn for a good line through Casino. You will be able to use a bit of throttle towards the end of the corner, give a good press at the end.
Turn 4: Immediately after 3 take your foot off the gas and gear down to 3rd. Turn sharply right coming in contact with as much of the curb as possible. On the way out, straighten the steering and gently accelerate going as wide as possible. It is easy to spin out or go too wide here so do be careful with the throttle.
Sector 2
Turn 5: Kubica dodges a bump on the way down to 5 but I can't detect it in the game. Stay left, there is no clear braking point but there is a slight dip in the road that I use as my braking point. You will be at the top of 5th gear so brake hard down to 1st and turn in only after you have slowed all the way down (it is easy to spin by carrying too much speed). Stay off the throttle, get in close to the armco by turning sharply and wait until you can see down the street before accelerating out.
Turn 6: Stay right out of 5 and brake hard just after the slight curve in the road. Come down to 1st gear (~60kph) and lock the wheel left turning in just before you're parallel to the curb on the inside of the corner. When you're about 3/4 of the way round you can gently get on the throttle making sure you don't push yourself into the barrier on the right.
Turn 7: Accelerate hard out of 6, but you want to prevent wheelspin so don't completely floor it. Move left a bit so you are about 2/3 of the way over then just after you get to 3rd gear brake a bit and drop to 2nd, turning in at the same time. Coast, make a good sharp turn and use the curb on the right (but don't overdo it). Head to the left on the exit by using a little throttle.
Turn 8: Gun it for a second after the curb on your right ends. Shift to 3rd then drop to second and turn in similar to 7 but holding on a bit longer for the exit. Be gentle with the throttle after passing through the corner as this is an easy spot to spin out.
Turn 9: Drift to the right through the tunnel, resist the urge to hug the wall on the right. Stay to the right as you exit the tunnel and keep an eye on the markers.
Turn 10/11: Brake very hard at 75m (between 100 and 50) coming down to 2nd gear. Turn sharply left at about 25m (after you're in 2nd gear) and grab as much of the curb on your left on your way through. Immediately after touching the first curb turn sharply right to touch the next one. Stay close to the last bit of the chicane by staying off the throttle as you go through. Once you are at the last turn of the chicane you can start accelerating towards 12.
Turn 12: Heading towards 12 in 5th gear keep your eye on the 50m marker. Take your foot off the gas here and then swing left just afterwards. Keep off the throttle until you are well past the corner to avoid bumping the armco on the right of the exit.
Turn 13/14: Flat out. While accelerating out of 12 you will naturally drift right. Just after getting over to the right start turning left. Once you see the curb appear on the left flick the wheel left and then slightly right to get through the 2nd half of the chicane. Stay to the left as you exit. You can use lots of both curbs on your way through here.
Sector 3
Turn 15/16: Brake hard at the overhead and come down to 2nd pointing the car slightly right as you do so. Turn sharply after shifting to 2nd (should be in the middle of the road at this point) running over the curb on the right. Once you are pointed at the curb on the other side of the chicane straighten the wheel and turn sharply left. Use a tiny bit of throttle on the exit.
Turn 17: Accelerating hard out of 16 brake hard a little before the overhead that appears just after the curve leading upto this turn. Come down from 4th to 1st and coast through. Turn sharply just after shifting to 1st but don't get too close to the barrier, you want some space for the 2nd half of the turn since you will have to use more and more steering on the way through. You will end up on the left without using much throttle on the exit. Accelerate hard once you are parallel with the wall on the left.
Turn 18/19: You will be able to get to 3rd gear but once you do take your foot off the gas and start turning right. Don't turn too sharply until you are at the top of the slope going round turn 18. Straighten the steering slightly as you go through but continue turning right to avoid bumping into turn 19. You can acclerate hard once you are past the bump of turn 18.

Monaco Start- Points needing to be made for the benefit of all.
We have many safe and careful drivers.
But please all drivers be very conscious of safe passage through turn 1 lap 1. St Devote is not an overtaking opportunity at the best of times. At the start it is a bottleneck! You will have noted if racing AI there is a veritable queue to get through. 14 or 16 cars take up space and there is very little to be had.
Unless you have made it onto the front row you need to deal with it with great caution:
Cars in front of you will brake early, so will the car in front of him and so on all the way up the grid. This means that if on say row 5 and each row allows an extra 7metres you will be braking a full 35 metres (115 feet) earlier than your normal full fuel braking point. Expect and plan to have to brake very early to avoid the car in front.
Make your way through safely without contact and you are racing. There are 59 laps to get a result from Monaco and the barriers will probably get you more passes than pure speed will. If the guy in front has outqualified you he possibly has good comparative pace and will just be all over your gearbox causing extra stress just when you don’t need it.
If the driver in front has braked early is prob due to the reason above. Take extra care and follow suit rather than seeing it as a passing opportunity. There is no clever way through turn 1 if there is another car there! Please do not ruin your race and the race of others with overtaking attempts here in turn 1 lap 1. If through poor choices you are faced with having to go inside the kerb you will be subject to our normal rules and have to give back all places gained or even suspected of being gained.
Be advised that because these points have now been made very obvious and clear the stewards will respond very harshly to drivers responsible for contact. If you contact another car under brakes on lap 1 turn 1 you will be facing uncomfortable and unwelcome penalties.
