Sound issues with AC on PC

hi all, Im new to this, and im running AC on a PC. Over the past couple of weeks im having all sorts of sound issues when the cars hit full revs. The sound cuts out or goes distorted. It doesnt change for different cars, tracks or even if i se headphones, speakers, the monitor or the V headset speakers.
Any ideas what it could be???? Maybe a setting in AC or on the PC?

Maybe an automatic update to drivers, or other software that changed up your default settings. Check your windows settings for things like environmental audio as well.

It's signal clipping.
In Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg\audio_engine.ini
change MAX_CHANNELS to 512.
Also in game audio settings lower master volume, as some cars still have "hot" soundtrack.

So I changed the setting, but this didn’t work. I ended up tuning down the sound effects to other cars, and the helped a lot. But it still doesn’t sound like it used to a month or so ago.

So now when I rev the cars and get to redline all the sound cuts out and only comes back delayed after I release the throttle.
Any other ideas?

Have you made any recent changes to AC (sol, csp...)? Does the sound issue only occur with Assetto Corsa? Also, have you tried doing a Steam 'verify integrity of game files' check in the game (AC) properties for any corrupt files.

I dont think I have made any changes? But I’m new to this. It only appears to happen with AC. I can play music really loud with no issues. How do I verify files????

So going into sound control panel, changing to 24bit, 48000hz
along with
