I would be happy to compromise and go for Circuit 1A-V2 as the layout - there is no chicane along the back straight, but the first corner is a little bit tighter and not quite as quick.

Just to clarify, by "I'm happy to compromise" I meant that I am happy to select a track layout that encompasses the best of both worlds, and not that I am presenting this to you as the only alternative, so apologies if this sounded a little bit blunt!

What are the rules/guidelines regarding to faster class lapping the slower?
Personally i don't want to see anybody moving off their line/lifting before a faster car has started to overtake, even then it shouldn't be necessary.
