Hello people,

Does anyone here know where the Track Logos and loading screens are? I wanted to update the Toban Rcaeway Park's logo. It's been the same for 10 years now. In fact I'd like to update them all (rFactor OEM Tracks).

You know loading screens are not used in the new UI, right? So changing them is kind of a wasted effort.

Anyway, they are in the MAS files you can unpack with MAS2.exe, …\Steam\SteamApps\common\rFactor 2\Installed\Locations\TobanRP_2016\1.1. Toban's MAS files with the loading screens are not encrypted, but other tracks might be. There's one MAS for each version of the track, so you'd backup the original (in case changes don't work), open them, extract the files to a different location, replace the loading screen, and then repack. Changing loading screens shouldn't affect ability to enter multiplayer.

Are the Track Logo's still going to be used though?

Not on the loading screens, a real time drawn track layout image is displayed. No saved images, that I know of anyhow.
