Spotter/Engineer very quiet.

Is it the same for everyone?

I can hardly hear him over the rest of the noises in car. I have tried turning all other sounds down to about 85% and it is better.

No, not really. You mean built in spotter/engineer, not CrewChief, right?

Have you checked your headphone or speakers for surround spatialization? Sometimes some frequencies get eaten by that. I had that with my new headset until I noticed, that for proper surround simulation I had to install DTS-X. After that sound was crystal clear even in virtual surround mode.

But the engineer could give a few more helpful advices. I hope KUNOS implements more variation, more info through the engineer. I believe the did so in past upgrades as well.
Lately I almost do not miss CrewChief, when it is not running...

It is the same through speakers and headphones. Will do some reading on DTX.

If it is both with speakers and headphones I fear it might not be a missing DTS-X.
Adjusting the separate volumes ingame might be the most viable way.
